All-on-4 Dental Implants

Full mouth dental implants are commonly referred to as secure dentures, or All-on-4's. All-on-4 dental implants are a full arch restoration that replaces all of your teeth at one time. The hybrid appliance is slimmer and more comfortable than a denture, as it’s designed more like an extended dental bridge. Each of the teeth on your All-on-4 restoration are designed for optimal aesthetics, function, and fit to your facial profile.

The thing that’s unique about All-on-4 treatments is that they make it possible to restore a full arch of teeth with as few as four dental implants total. Since the implants are strategically placed (and capable of supporting an immense amount of weight) they can predictably support a streamline hybrid appliance in a predictable manner.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

If you’re planning a full mouth reconstruction or teeth in a day experience, it’s extremely important to map out the overall care plan at the highest level of detail. Getting same day teeth to restore your smile is something that can change your quality of life for years to come.

Our Philadelphia full mouth dental implant office incorporates advanced 3D digital scanning to precisely map and plan your procedure. Something like implants in a day should never be rushed! Thanks to 3D imagery, you can expect a straightforward treatment with minimal downtime.

Advantages of All-on-4 Treatment

  • No bulky, removable dentures
  • Speak clearly
  • Enjoy the flavors of all your favorite foods
  • Natural support of your facial profile
  • Highly predictable and long-lasting
  • Easy to maintain on a daily basis

Candidates for All-on-4 Implants

The ideal candidate for All-on-4 dental implants will be someone who is already missing all or most of their teeth. Since the treatment spans from one side of your smile to the other, any remaining teeth would need to be removed. For that reason, All-on-4 isn’t suggested for people who still have healthy or restorable teeth.

As with other implant consultations, we’ll want to screen you for risk factors such as bone loss, underlying medical conditions, certain medicines you may be taking, or recent surgeries. Having a healthy body and mouth is essential to ensuring a successful implant experience. But if your teeth and gums aren’t healthy, we can help you get there.
