What is Invisalign?
Invisalign has straightened over 9 million smiles! They are the leader in custom clear aligners. Invisalign clear aligners are made up of a thin, flexible plastic that fits comfortably over the teeth and along the gum line. When receiving Invisalign treatment, you will get a series of aligner sets. The number of sets fluctuates from patient to patient.
Each set is typically worn for two weeks, 22 hours a day, before changing to the next one. The clear aligners gently shift teeth into their desired position. Invisalign trays should only be removed when eating and brushing your teeth.

What Can Invisalign Fix?

What Can Invisalign Not Correct?
Invisalign is meant to straighten teeth and help fix bites. Examples of issues Invisalign cannot address are tooth shape, severely rotated teeth, and severe gaps in teeth. For addressing tooth shape, porcelain veneers are often a great option. Invisalign currently can turn teeth but not more than 20 degrees. Invisalign does a great job with minor to moderate spacing between teeth. Spacing over 6mm will likely need to be addressed by a different orthodontic treatment option.
